Links to other TA and related sites
You can find details of the following national and international organisations on our page entitled TA: A Worldwide Professional Framework. Here, we give simply the link to each organisation's web site.
The web site of Middlesex University, which validates our psychotherapy training course for the awards of the Postgraduate Clinical Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling and the Masters' degree in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, is www.mdx.ac.uk.
Lifespace Publishing:
This is the publishing house that produces TA Today (Ian Stewart and Vann Joines, 1987) the textbook on basic TA that has become the world-standard introduction to its subject. Lifespace also publishes a landmark title on a central topic in current TA: Personality Adaptations, by Vann Joines and Ian Stewart (2002). The Lifespace web site is at: www.lifespacebooks.com.
Other TA training institutes:
For a complete list of TA training institutes, please contact ITA, EATA, ITAA, or your own national TA organisation. Here are some links to the web sites of colleagues of ours who have a link to "The Berne's" site on their pages. In no particular order:
"Berne" graduates offering psychotherapy: The following graduates of "The Berne's" training programme, who have links to our site on their own web pages, offer psychotherapy in private practice. All those listed here are qualified as Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) and are listed in the National Register of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as Transactional Analysis Psychotherapists. (Please see also our page on Psychotherapy and Supervision for links to therapists and supervisors practising in Berne House). Also:
(Webmaster notes: as at the redesign of the web site, June 2012, this list is still to be filled out.)
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP):
Though the UKCP is concerned with the regulation of many different psychotherapies in the UK, and not solely with TA, we are listing its site here. The Berne Institute, like the ITA, is an Organisational Member of the Humanistic and Integrative College of the UKCP. The web address of the UKCP is www.psychotherapy.org.uk.
